Berkeley First City, LP
1700 Pacific Avenue, a 1.3 million square foot, Class “A”
office building, is owned by Berkeley First City, L.P. an
affiliate of Berkeley Investments. Berkeley’s properties
are wholly owned by the Hamilton/Kalimian family.
The
Hamilton/Kalimian family has been an investor and developer
of real-estate projects since 1955, originating in New York,
New York. Berkeley has successfully developed and procured
numerous assets including office buildings, apartment buildings,
condominium developments and retail centers in New York, Canada,
and Texas.
Berkeley
Investments credits its success to a pride of ownership philosophy
that entails a long-term hold period for most of its assets.
Berkeley either develops or purchases quality real estate
projects with high-end finishes and maintains direct involvement
and oversight on all of it’s properties.
Jon
Hamilton currently manages the Texas investment portfolio,
including 1700 Pacific Avenue. Mr. Hamilton graduated from
the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. degree
in Business Administration and has served the real estate
industry for over 22 years in various capacities including
investment, development, acquisition and dispositions, financial
analyst, and broker.
